Eline was accepted for both piano and voice at the Conservatorium of Amsterdam. She studied classical voice with Valerie Guillorit and Sasja Hunnego and has been allowed to call herself Master of Music since June 2016. She is currently coached by Selma Harkink.
In addition to her conservatoire training, Eline participated in the International Song Masterclass with Christianne Stotijn in Brussels 2014/2015. She took master classes with Margreet Honig, Ira Siff, Emma Kirkby, Claron McFadden, Maarten Koningsberger, Udo Reinemann and Meinard Kraak, among others. She has worked with directors such as Floris Visser, Elsina Jansen, David Prins and Marcin Lakomicki.
Eline performs as a soloist at home and abroad and also nurtures a passion for chamber music, ensemble singing and teaching. She is a member of the Helios Trio, with viola player Iteke Wijbenga and pianist Laurens de Man. With this, she performed at the Harmos Festival in Portugal and in the Recital Hall of Amsterdam's Concertgebouw, among others.
Bach and more baroque
Baroque music and oratorio have a big place in her heart. Her repertoire includes the St Matthew Passion, the St John Passion, the Hohe Messe and various (solo) cantatas by J.S. Bach, the Requiem, and the Mass in c minor by W.A. Mozart, Handel's Messiah, Scarlatti's Stabat Mater. Eline is also active in the field of opera. She recently performed Hänsel (Hänsel und Gretel, Humperdinck) at the Berlin Opera Academy. She participated in the Performing Opera Summer Course, as part of the Grachtenfestival where she played scenes from Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro, Mozart), La Grande Duchesse (La Grande Duchesse de Gerolstein, Offenbach) and Orlofsky (Die Fledermaus, Strauss). Together with renowned flamenco guitarist Eric Vaarzon Morel and viola player Oene van Geel, she regularly performs Flamenco Opera Highlights (El Greco, Vaarzon Morel).
On several tours with the Dutch Symphonic Wind Orchestra, she sang opera arias and songs by Rossini, Tchaikovsky, Mahler, Bizet, Bernstein and Offenbach, among others. Sometimes Welle winks at more popular genres and performs French Chansons, among others.
