Your personal data

When using our goods and/or services, such as subscribing to the NKK magazine or becoming a Friend, you provide data that enables us to perform these services. The type of data we collect depends on the purpose. We will never collect more personal data than necessary for the intended purpose. For example, when signing up for our online newsletter, it is not necessary to provide your postal address. Before collecting this data, we will always ask for your consent. Depending on the service you use, we may process the following personal data:

- Name and address details

- Gender
- IBAN (when making a purchase in the webshop or becoming a Friend of the NKK)
- Information you fill in an open field, such as a message in the contact form
- Date of birth

Purposes

We process the above data for one or more of the following purposes:

- Sending the magazine
- Sending the online newsletter
- Sending online concert notifications (sent based on your postcode)
- Sending a purchase in our webshop
- Sending purchased tickets
- If you are a Friend: informing you about upcoming meetings
- Optionally sending promotional gifts or other information by post
- Analysis and research of our customer base
- To answer questions or handle your complaints or comments
- We may combine data from different sources to provide you with more relevant information or special offers

We will not retain your data longer than necessary for the purpose and/or as required by law and regulations.

Disclosure of your data to third parties

We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law or necessary for the delivery of our products or services. For example, for the biennial magazine distribution, we share your data with the organization handling the distribution. Through an agreement, we ensure that third parties may not use your data for purposes other than intended. Additionally, we will agree with the third party to delete the data once it is no longer needed for the intended purpose.

This website uses cookies. A cookie is a small, simple file that is sent with pages of this website and stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer. Right to access, correct, and delete

Do you have a comment or complaint about the processing of your personal data by the Netherlands Chamber Choir? We are happy to assist you and will always take your complaint seriously.
